San Fransisco
Tomorrow I will be leaving to San Fransisco. Recently they had an earthquake. Probably because they are afraid of what I will do to it. I will paint it red! I really shouldn't have stayed up this late, but hey, come on.

I'm going with my brother and we have pretty much nothing planned other than the Going To San Fransisco and the Coming Back From San Fransisco parts. Except for seeing Patty Hearst at her Castle in San Simeon on the way up. She better be there and she better be holding a gun.

As I have nothing planned any tips would be appreciated. At work I was told to go to Lombard Street and one guy also said to go to China Town for sushi. Isn't sushi Japanese? What are those Chinese Townians up to? I'll keep an eye on them. If you or anyone you know can give a great tip please message 915 345 9600.  No AIDS-ridden Gay Jokes please. Unless they're really funny.

When I get back I'll tell you all about this horrible pair of headphones I bought at wal-mart. They were the worst pair I've ever spent a $25 gift card that I received for being a stand-up worker for! And that is no exaggeration! I'll also tell you a story about how I got to drive a mercedes-benz the last time I went to Coachella back in '06. It was wild!

p.s. at the end of the Harry Potter series, you find out that he is an alien/vampire. Spoiler Alert!

omg, I totally forgot that you asked me for stuff to do in SF. I suck at helping.

because I'm sleep deprived and tired, these are things I thought of off the top of my head:

the cartoon art museum - 655 mission street
mcsweeney's pirate store - 826 valencia (also maybe dolores park since you'll be in the area)
golden gate park, obviously (maybe even ocean beach since the weather's been pretty warm)
go see one of those rocknroll shows (slim's, great american music hall, bottom of the hill, and rickshaw stop are all awesome venues)
fisherman's wharf/the embarcadero - avoid if you hate touristy stuff
chinatown, japantown, and north beach are all lousy with good restaurants
go to the zoo! the kids'll be at home reading their henry potter so you'll have it all to yourself
take the BART to the east bay and come see Berkeley
if all else fails, pick up a copy of the SF weekly or SF guardian and find out what events they have listed for the next few days

how long will you guys be here?

Geez. That is a lot of good things. I'm glad you came through! We will be there for a week. Roughly. Give or take. McSweeney's! I just bought a Dave Eggers book yesterday. Now I need to write it down. I'm glad I saw this before I left.

Do they have drum circles at berkeley? If so, I'm so there.

You should! Here are some things we've done so far.

We went to a pirate store! They had a fish aquarium and children's laughter and lots of drawers. Is that how you spell it? Drawer? Like, wooden things that you pull out and there are things contained in them? Because I don't mean someone who draws. It was a highlight.
We walked up to the top of lombard st from the fisherman's wharf. That was a stupid idea. Don't do that.
Also, we started heading back to El Paso.

Are you still gonna hold a vigil for Full House with washed up child celebrities? If so, I'll be there in spirit. My travel plans have been temporarily thwarted by sponge bathing the elderly and walking up and down hallways all day. However, it pays well and I'm planning a trip to Humboldt County sometime in the fall!!

I don't know anything really about San Francisco except to avoid Haight Ashbury because it's really fucking lame and Fisherman's Wharf is supposed to be neat.

Of course I am! I don't know if they will be there though. They probably all have some reality show or reality show reunion to attend to. Or maybe they can't get the day off because they have to close up the shop and can't get anyone to cover for them. What in the world is in Humboldt County worth visiting? Not me!

I think I'm at Fisherman's Wharf now and the guy at the front desk does cocaine, I'm sure.

I forgive you for not reading it earlier. That's what online friends are for.

that is great of you to offer! Maybe I will end up calling if I can convince myself not to convince myself that i would probably call at a bad time or other things like that. Because I can be pretty convincing sometimes.
